A good summer job mixes technically challenging work with an outstanding environment and unbeatable weather and surroundings. An internship at RII provides all of those things and more. RII is a comfortable environment - people like to be here and enjoy working and playing together. One of the highlights for many of our interns is the weekly Ultimate Frisbee games at lunch every Friday.

RII typically hires between 6 and 10 students to work in Menlo Park each summer. Summer projects tend to lead to patent applications and publications. The summer work provides valuable experience working in a vibrant research lab. The San Francisco Bay Area is a great place to live because when you're not at work, you can hike, swim, or explore.
